Dr. Megan Miller is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who began her career 10 years ago after graduating from The University of Rhode Island in 2013. She received her specialty training for canine rehabilitation at the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in Coral Springs, FL and worked in a canine rehab facility in Massachusetts for 1 year before starting her own mobile canine PT business in RI in 2019.
In 2021 Dr. Megan decided to relocate her business, her 2 dogs, and herself to the beautiful city of Greenville, SC. She works with her canine patients in their homes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays she helps out at various assisted living facilities and memory care units in Greenville and Spartanbug. On weekends she loves to play with her 5 year old morkie, Brady, and nap with her 15 year old cockapoo, Mosie, along with planning her wedding with her fiance, Mike, which is in Fall of 2024!
Can laser therapy help my pet?
Dr. Megan uses the most powerful laser on the market so that your pet will enjoy immediate relief from pain, while reducing inflammation and stimulating the body's natural healing processes. Your pet will feel a nice warm sensation from the laser; it is completely painless and non-invasive.
In this crazy and unpredictable world, know that we are always here for you and your pet!
At PAWSabilities Physical Therapy, Dr. Megan takes the time to speak with you in length about your pet and their injury or condition as well as your concerns and goals. She also gets to know your pet and strives to earn their trust so they feel comfortable while receiving treatments. Dr. Megan will go above and beyond to ensure your pet gets the care it needs!
I come to you!
It can be difficult and stressful for your injured pet to get into and out of the home, car, and clinic. That's why all services are delivered right to your home and provided to your pet in their own environment! This is where they feel most comfortable, allowing them to get the most out of their treatments!
You're covered!
Canine physical therapy is covered by pet insurance policies that cover rehabilitation services. Dr. Megan will provide you with the appropriate paperwork for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
