Meet the Doctor!
Dr. Megan Miller started her professional career as a physical therapist for humans. She graduated from Providence College in 2010 with her BS in Health Policy & Management, then from the University of Rhode Island in 2013 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While she enjoyed working on people and marveled over the outcomes she saw every day, she saw that dogs and other animals could benefit from physical therapy as well. An avid animal lover, she took classes at the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in Coral Springs, Florida, where she learned to apply her physical therapy skills to dogs. Originally from Rhode Island, she recognized the need for canine physical therapy within her home town and started a canine PT company in order to help dogs recover from injury, surgery, arthritis, and neuromuscular conditions. Dr. Miller's business in Rhode Island exploded, as the benefits of canine PT was tangible. She also worked on a couple of cats with arthritis, which significantly improved their mobility. Dr. Miller takes a holistic approach to treating each dog, assessing the entire body each visit and treating every joint and muscle that needs it.
Dr. Miller recently moved to Lyman, South Carolina with her two dogs, where she relocated her practice. She travels throughout Greenville and Spartanburg Counties treating dogs and cats. She is grateful every single day for her wonderful clients who trust her with their pets' care!
